The team is coached by Tammy Partsch and Tom Dinville.
This is the 21st year of Academic Decathlon at Lourdes. The participating members begin studying in the summertime and give up their study hall to meet daily during the school year. They learn the fundamentals of Art, Music, Language, Math, Science, and Economics and are also required to learn specifics about each category, plus Social Sciences, related to a central theme. The theme for 2015-2016 was "India." Students are also graded on how well they write an essay, give a prepared and an impromptu speech, and sit for an interview.
