The Lady Knights return 8 players with court experience from last season, so everyone is buzzing with excitement for the upcoming season. We are moving from Class D1 to Class C2, but for the last few seasons we have played several Class C2 and some C1 schools so we are ready for this new challenge. Returning this season are senior setter Jacey Kreifels, who received 2nd Team All-conference and all state Honorable Mention honors last season, senior outside hitter Natalie Wright and junior setter/hitter Ivye Meyer, who received All Conference Honorable Mention last season. These three players will be the captains of the 2018 team. Ivye Meyer is coming off a last season basketball injury (torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus) and is cleared for competition. Also returning are outside hitters Libby Baumert, Addison DeFreece and Ainsley Esser, libero Emma Heng and middle blockers Elaina Madison(all-conference 3rd team last season) and Gina McGowen. Baumert, Madison and McGowen provide lots of height at the net (5’10, 6’1 and 6’3 respectively).

With the end of the 2017 season ending one game short of the state tournament, the Lady Knights are ready to battle hard this season with a team motto of “ONE MISSION”.

2017-2018 Knights Track and Field

2017-2018 Knights Track and Field

The 2018 Knights girls and boys track experienced successful growth over the prior year. The Knights were young with only one returning senior.   Many young athletes stepped up to fill bigger roles. They battled their way against many state competitors and will use that experience in the 2019 season. James Kearney was able to earn this way to the 2018 State Track meet in the 3200m taking down tough Class C district competition.
